After a promising beginning in the Kannada film industry, actress Rachana Inder is currently involved in two projects - Firefly and Naanu Matthu Gunda 2. Speaking with Bangalore Times, she shares insights into her journey, her approach to selecting roles, completing her MBA, and more.
"Every character I portray in roles like Neha in Firefly offers unique insights into acting. With each project, I continue to learn and grow, striving to improve myself," says Rachana.
Regarding her role selection process, she emphasizes avoiding repetition and seeks roles that are engaging, focusing on how the director envisions the character and its impact on audiences. She believes that the size of the role does not matter, as long as it captivates the viewers.
Rachana notes the changing landscape of female character writing, with roles evolving from mere props to impactful, game-changing characters. She sees this shift as advantageous for emerging actresses, as it demands versatility and offers new opportunities.
Completing her MBA has been crucial for Rachana in balancing her career's ups and downs. Education, she believes, provides a safety net and aligns with her family's emphasis on completing her studies regardless of her chosen profession. With her education now finished, she is fully focused on scripts and films.
